Akela delivers, installs and trains on marine evacuation systems for safety and survival training centers. Important safety precautions for ship travel are also emphasized, including familiarity with emergency procedures and equipment.

Marine Rescue Centre

Russian Marine Rescue (MRS) in Moscow, Russia, is the primary sea rescue company for Russian transport. MRS partnered with AKELA to enhance their training facilities and offer OPITO BOSIET type training. AKELA upgraded the facility with simulators, equipment, and train-the-trainer services, including indoor pool modifications for HUET training. The project was completed in late 2017.

Turn-key fully equipped maritime training centre

The Admiral Nevelskoy Maritime State University (MSU), established in 1890, is a leading Asia-Pacific university. It offers comprehensive training in natural sciences, humanities, engineering, and marine areas. After extensive planning, MSU is establishing a state-of-the-art training center, with Wärtsilä/Transas and Akela chosen as equipment suppliers. The center will feature advanced simulation and safety training facilities.
